ok, I have read some things on these and I think they look pretty sweet. I was wondering what kind of aggression they have. And also, does anybody know how they would react if I put them in the same tank as scorpions (emperors). I don't think the scorpions would be a problem, but I'm curious as to whether the crabs would attack them or not.

Dont ever mix species like that. Its a horrible idea and without a doubt the two species will fight to the death. Those species dont interact in the wild so they should not in captivity either.
Moon crabs are so so in their aggresiveness. They do have a good pinch and can cause a little pain.

That's aside from the fact that their husbandry is probably way different too. Bad idea.

And as for moon crabs being aggressive, I have no clue. :p

Moon crabs will actively hunt down insects and fish if provided in a small water bowl. Ive seen moon crabs grab semi small goldfish and just rip em in half. So if it was your finger it would hurt.

i'm not asking if it'll attack my finger.... I'm just wondering if it'll attack an emperor scorpion or not... they are pretty similar in size, and similar habitats... But has anyone tried mixing them with other species?

You got the answer to the question before. Dont mix the species. They need different care and if you put them together one for sure will die. Possibly both. They will fight without a doubt.

i had emps and moon crabs my crab was 3 times bigger than the big big male emp and no mixing species

froggy ur post kind of confussed me, did u have both species in a tank and one killed the outher or r u just saying ur moon crab was bigger?

You shouldn’t mix species together ever; My bet is that if you were to put them together the moon crab would kill the scorpion, even if the scorpion is bigger then it.

i had some moon crabs-they were easy to keep and lived for about 3 yrs,not sure how old they were when i got them though.
ya i think the crab would make a meal out of the emp pretty quick,theyll eat anything.
