I only have four snakes, so feeding isn't a huge ordeal. I feed all of them F/T, in rubbermades outside their enclosures. I was curious, though, how the feeding process is for those of you who have LOTS of snakes. I mean the people who breed and have 10-15+ most of the time. I imagine it is a major process. I also don't keep feeding charts, because with only four of them, I can remember who has eaten what when, and they all eat on the same day anyway (once a week, every 2 weeks for the carpet).

No pythons, but I feed my boas in their enclosures and my milks in tupperware because I keep em on Cypress mulch.

I feed my boas and pythons (12 snakes) in their enclosures because I use news paper / paper towel as a substrate. My bull is a display snake, in a planted terrarium with sand and the works, and she is fed outside of her enclosure. I'm still working on feeding my mud.

I feed my BP in, on paper towels. I think this thread has been done before, might try a search with a title similar to yours.

I feed in, on unprinted newspaper stock. 32 balls. I keep extensive records; weight once a week before meal, weight and type of meal, shed dates, etc. I also use a 'dot system' much like the Sutherlands to keep track of who's eaten what and when. Feeding alone takes anywhere from 1.5-3 hrs/week, hatchlings are the toughest, using most of that time.

I only have 1 python myself, so feeding is pretty easy, so is keeping track of it. But I found this program a while back (some of you may know of it or even use it) but it's called SnakeKeeper and it seems pretty useful for people with lots of snakes. It basically organises everything into a database, and keeps track of feeding, breeding, enslosures, etc.. Anyway check it out if you're interested you can download a trial aswell: http://www.ancosoft.co.za/snakekeeper/

(ps: I'm not in anyway affiliated with this program, just thought it could be useful for someone)

I have a large collection (I think around 60 at present), and they all eat at different times, depending on their individual needs, so I never have just one feeding day. Some days I may only feed one snake, some days I may be feeding 30. Even on heavy days, it isn't much of a hassle. I just have to toss em in the enclosures and continue on with whatever else I need to be doing :p

I only keep feed and shed records, simply because it can be difficult to remember with that many snakes. I tried a computer program a few years ago, but nothing can be helped when your computer crashes and you lose everything. I usually keep all my records on index cards.
