The 2 common names I have heard are Mexican borrowing snake (used more in Europe) and the New World Sunbeam Snake. That’s the problem with common names, especially in rare animals.

New World python is another one. I remember a discussion on kingsnake about them some time ago...

It's in the '04 archives in the snakes - general forum... in it 'rearfang' says that he has some.
