LoL I guess there's alot worse cases of this disease out there but mines getting severe it seems, 4 geckos within a week? Pushin it I'd say. But anyways figured I'd let people know I went to the White Plains show and picked up 3 beautiful Leopard. A male and 2 female. Normals, but they are really nice patterns designs colors etc. but regardless still love em' and their doing great. All about a month away from breeding :D can't wait.
On a lesser note I tried to find a female for my male crested gecko there and that was a hassle, a few people had them but I dont think there was anymore than 5-6 positive females and there was 2 possibles. Unfortunatly I was spoiled and payed a mere 50 for mine and its realllly nice for the price, however they wanted 200-250 for some pretty dull ones. Still atleast I've got my Leos :-d now my collection is about done 2 female cresties and thats it untill i find my own place.
Congrats on you new found love!
Gecko fever is such a baaad, incurable disease!!! Two weeks ago I went to purchase a baby leopard gecko from a breeder and left with 8!!!! Then, I turned around and bought a beautiful adult female a few days later... =)

I can relate for sure! It all started with one little frog-eyed gecko and I now have 20 geckos of five different species. Here's a few pics of some that I picked up at the Sept 12th Reptile Expo.

If it is a disease, then I'm in no rush to find a cure. :D

Wow those are some beautiful geckos I'll have some pics of mine up pretty soon wish I had the money to get a collection like that goin
my wife and i did the same thing at that show. i went looking for a female crested too but, like you, was very disappointed that there werent any nice looking ones. i would have picked up a couple of babies or juvies even but i didnt even see any of them that caught my eye. i think i am getting spoiled cruising Anthony
Caponetto's and Neoscales ads and website to name a few. we ended up picking up our first snakes.. an albino Sonoran gopher and a coastal cal king. while talking to the dealer about the king my wife picked up an adult leo normal and just fell in love. so we came home w/ 3 new babies. :D
the fevers even worse when your 14,have no money and parents dont like them :(
