hey all,
we just got(5 weeks ago) 1.1 albino burms and no matter what we have tried, the female refuses to eat anything, any suggestions?

You have to give more than that for most people to take a guess at whats wrong. If they are housed together that could be the first problem. As housing two snakes together is not the greatest idea except during breeding. What are the temps like ? The more info the better the suggestions at what could be wrong.

the temp is 90 and humidity is 60-65% in the enclosure and they are not together.

If you also just got it, give her some time to settle down to her new environment. Try not to handle her or disturb her. Best of luck.

It's always best to wait until they have had at least 2 meals in your care before you start to handle them :)

I am not new to herping, I was just wondering if anyone has any suggestions that I may not have tried. My other 5 burms and the rest of my boids all eat fine. I have never had a problem like this gal in the past.

I also recently obtained a few 1.1 albino burmes. I had the same problem except for my male wouldn't eat. I tried feeding him live the first time and f/t after that. Then i gave him a good 2 weeks of quiet time and tried agian with live food. Eureka. He not only ate 1 live mouse but a f/t mouse as well that day. I had my burmes approxiamtely 4 weeks before he finally ate. The female eats like a horse. Never a problem with her. Give it time ... he'lll eat when he's ready. I hope this helps.
