? for ya Corey....what defines an axanthic? I've seen some that are black and white, then some that have a tinge of yellow, much paler than a normal. Do they gain colour as they age?

Yve,

Most of the Axanthics I've seen pictures of on Kingsnake.com aren't axanthics in my opinion. They are pailer than a normal but not axanthic. Some Axanthic lines do develop yellow with age and as always some look better than others. Both of the males I produced are turning almost a skin colour.....it is quite interesting.

Thanks for you kind words everyone.

Grant,

Last year I bred my pair of 1998 Het Caramels (NERD Line) together and the female produced 3 slugs. The male had 100% fertility in the other clutches he fathered. Anyways, the pair has been breeding again this year and the female is full of follicles. So, I'm hoping to get good eggs from her this year.......my fingers are crossed. If I don't produce a Caramel this year then I'm temped to go out and buy one.
