Hey all,
I am VERY interested in breeding Bredl's pythons. They are the most beautiful carpet in my opinion (and apparantly to others as well, according to their price tags!). I have not kept these snakes, but have kept JCP's in the past. Would you say they are similiar in care? In pictures it always looks to me like Bredl's are more heavily bodied than JCP's (more like coastal carpets, I'd say). Anyhow, I was just wondering if there was any information or experience someone can pass along to me about breeding this wonderful morelia. Is it similiar to breeding the other carpets? I figure as much, seeing as how they are from the same place (not sure if they are from the same exact environment or location, though). I like to know a LOT about what I am going to get into, so any sheets on taxonomy, location, natural environmental conditions, breeding behavior, preferred breeding size for both genders, etc. will be GREATLY appreciated.
