Awesome! But pinkies are NOTHING for them, LOL! That's like us eating a single drumstick and that's it. Bigger meals will make it grow faster! :D

Thanks everyone
Jeff you think that was to small? Ill try a bigger item, possibly a fuzzy. How much bigger is it supposed to be compared to them. It did look like he took it down quite quickly. It was just a bit bigger then the thickest part of his body. Should it be like 150 percent?

I feed the little guys pinky rats and/or LARGE fuzzy mice right after thier first shed. Your Jungle is 4 months old! It should be taking fuzzy rats or hopper mice. But I'm not sure of the size. The meal should make a bulge that's quite noticeable. But use your own judegment. I think you're experienced enough. Also remember that feeding too small isn't bad and won't hurt the snake, and in fact, newly acquired specimens should be fed a couple small items to get them settled in.
You're doing just fine, but for the next meal, try an item 20-30% bigger and see what happens. Once you get these guys up to 24-30 inches, then you'll start to see why they are so addicting!! As cool as babies are, adults and sub-adults are waaaayyyy cooler! :D

:D thanks jeff! Do you have any feeding pics you wouldnt mind sharing. Id love to see how the adults take down meals.
So what is the biggest food item you think ill get a male on. Jumbo rats im guessing?
I think he could take down a a very small hopper. The ones I get for my corn look like it would kill him lol. Ill try a very small hopper and see how he takes it down. Thanks for the help!

Oh yeah, adults will take Jumbo rats, no problems. Easily.
Here's a baby with its FIRST meal. A fuzzy/hopper mouse!

I don't really take pics of adult Jungles eating anymore, but here's some old ones. They can take rats about 2x this size! Crazy eh?

Wow, they can handle much more then I thought. Ill try a normal sized hopper then. Im going to my cottage and then when I get back ill feed again.
Is 7 days to much of a stretch. I usually feed my babies every four days. How much should baby jc's be fed?

Depends on the size of the meal. Bigger meal, wait longer. Smaller meal, feed more often. All common sense. Just use and trust your judgement.
