Nice they let him live :D I hate seeing all the babies with deformaties freezered because they aren't "breedable" or whatever :(. If they are functioning fine they have every right to live and someone out there would be happy to have them as a pet.....

as long as he can eat, (and why wouldnt he ?! he alway has the heat sensing pits...) I dont know why they shouldnt keep him alive.. Maybe he has the greatest personnality ! :)
