Ok I just need some quick info about JCP's and IJCP's. Mainly just temperment, prices, difference between the two species, adult size, best place to get them (I know Jeff is going to be the answer to that one, lol), enclosure required for adult and baby, ease of breeding, age of sexual maturity, etc. I've already read a lot but every page has a different answer, I'm getting kinda frustrated...
I'm trying to decide what to get first, I've had tons of snakes, but I mean I've got a wish list, and don't know which to get for my first breeding project.
SO, the choices are Brazilian Rainbow Boa, Jungle Carpet Python, Irian Jaya Carpet Python, or Dumeril Boa.

Jungles and Irians....

Price is the same, temperment is the same, size is roughly the same, with extreme smalls and bigs in both cases, they both breed EASILY and at the same age (2 years for males, 3 years for females) etc etc etc.

After that, it goes into personal preference, of which NO ONE can tell you what YOU want. If you want more earth tones, more browns and creams and sometimes greens, then Irians are perfect for you. If you want intense contrast in yellow and black, then Jungles are for you.

You need to sit back and think what you'd like to see hangin' in your cage. Having had 3 carpet species (Coastal, Irian, and Jungle), the one that grabs the most attention when people visit here is an intense, freshly shed Jungle. Its night and day compared to the other two from my experience. Other people's experiences might be completely different. That's why they call it personal preference.

I'm really leaning toward the jungles, but just wondered if there were bigger personality differences, if it's pretty much the same then I'm definately gonna go for jungles. Do you have any high yellows right now Jeff? They run 200-400 depending on colour right? Could you PM me with what you have now?
