Martin!!
Look what I found in my Angel's cage!
What are the chances that my aureostriata met a male? Oooo- I'm really hoping they might be fertile!

What an interesting process to observe, this eggsac building!

This is a great shot of Angel- notice the eyeshine!

awesome pic goon! she's sooo pretty, she's got that maternal glow about her, *grin* (...and it's coming out her eyes! lol)
maybe if martins are bigger next time i order i'll get one of my own. i just don't trust myself with slings that small.
hmm or maybe i'll wait to see what happens with yours...
you'll have an awful lot of babies to find homes for!

Well, that's real exciting news!! Thanks!

The thing is, I had read female T's get really fat if they are gravid...Angel was plump, but nothing like I'd expect pregnancy to be like?
Hey, hopefully it means that the egg count is of a *manageable* size....I feel a thread of panic when considering trying to care for a THOUSAND slings! Eeek!

Time to go shopping for a LOT of deli cups, and crank up the pinhead production....whoooo...

Oh, and Manville...that IS a sac, hahahahaha.
She spent a lot of time digging this past couple of months, and made that bowl you see her sitting in. On Friday, she spun a big round tent, then took it all down on Sat. to make the ball.

I feel sorry for her sorta, because she's been working nonstop for days! I look in on her at all hours of the day and night, and the poor girl has not rested at all.

And Emily...anytime you want to come help feed hundreds and hundreds of spiders, just come to blackdragonfarms...heh, heh. The bummer part is that this species is a sloooow grower...which means I need a near constant flow of pinheads for like, six months? (Cricket maintenance is a bee-atch)
(How does Martin DO it??) He has multiple litters to care for!

I'm just soo excited!
