Im stumped

How do you guys keep these humongous snakes?!?!? I was at the zoo the other day and they had retic in almost a room size cage. I imagine you'd need a LOT of space just to keep one let a lone quite a few

Most peoples snakes arent 17-20ft+ so they can keep them in smaller cages. Im sure they have a large room or two rooms for their herps.

An 8x4 foot cage is large enough for giant constrictors. Check out the set up I have for my burm which is 10 feet and there is plenty of room for him to grow big and healthy.

My bigger retics have a 12'x4' But like said above most will do fine in a 8'x4'

i use 9 x 4's, but my biggest is 14.5', a little bigger and ill upgrade to a 12 x 5

I think the scarier part for me would be handling and cleaning and stuff. At a petite 5'3 id probably make a good snack for a large constrictor.

My hat goes off to you guys too- it is quite a commitment, even if a managable one.

I'm 5'3 and own a 14 foot long Burm named Bandula. I never have problems handling him and although he's very docile, I NEVER handle him alone. He nearly weighs as much as I do!

Not only is he an interesting pet, he's very much 'family' to my fiance and I. =)
