I am planing on getting a new snake and I have been looking at boas because I love them, but recently some pythons have been brought to my attention. I was looking at small boas like rosies or sand boas, but I heard of children's and spotted boas. I was wondering if folks could tell me about them or other small pythons. From what I have seen they seem easy to take care of. I have seen pictures of young ones but what do they look like when they get older? I have a BRB so I know how to care for snakes I just want a smaller one to take back to school with me. I would appreciate the help.
Thanks

I was very interested in spotteds lately..They look great! Imo bigger snakes are more fun in the long run. I have no idea about anything else to do with caging or all that, but i know their usually calm tame snakes.

If you mean college, which I assume you do, check on the pet policices if you are headed for a dorm. If you are apartment bound then no worries, but in the dorms if someone tattles to the RA, you might not be able to keep a snake. Some colleges wont even allow fishtanks in their dorm rooms.

Best of luck with school, and snakehunting =)
