my jungle carpet

I have adopted a beautiful jungle carpet ,ive had for about
3 weeks. hes doing great has eaten 3 times , my question is
he hisses all the time when i handle him but hes very freindly ,doesnt strick or bite ,he sits with me very nicely is this normal for him to be "talking" to me all the time?

He's just trying to intimidate you. "let me go!!!!!" is pretty much what he's saying. Just continue to handle him everyday ( not when he is in shed) and he will calm down. :)
