How much must a male weight before he is breeding ready

Hey, its more of an age/length thing. Of course you want him to be good weight.
These are the guidelines I follow.
At least 18 mos of age(some may not be ready this early), 7-8ft in length(the longer the better) and no less then 15lbs.
Just make sure he is healthy and not too thin, but not too fat either. Fat males are more lazy about breeding, thin males could go off of feed and have issues.
