heat idea

Well I was in a new and used store and found a cheap heating idea to heat a snake cage. I found a blacket with a cord sticking out still in its packaging for only 2 bucks, so I bought it, and took the heat rope stuff out of the blanket as I didn't really want the blanket on my rack system. I then wired it to a dimmer switch and it works like a charm, keeps all the rubbermaids at 82 F. just an idea. let me know what you guys think.

you can buy those kind of cable in Home depot, Roof De Icing cable. cost 35$cdn for 30 feet 150Watts.

well this stuff is a bit different and perhaps safer from what I know as it doesn't get as hot as the de icer cable. You can also shorten this stuff as it has a bunch of connectors so it's pretty awesome stuff indeed. you can find these electric blankets in almost all the value village used stores and pawn shops for dirt cheap, just make sure the cords are intact.
