The Sav i received over the weekend died today.
He seemed to perk up a bit towards yesterday evening so i thought i would stay up the night and monitor him to try and keep him fully hydrated e.t.c but this afternoon the paralysis swept through his body and within 2 hours he could barely move , One thing he did puzzled me a bit i went to check on him and thought he was dead as he was under one of his shelters but as my hand approached he began shaking his head from side to side, i at first thought he was scared or having some kind of fit so i backed off (figured there was nothing i could do) but he continued doing it in a steady controlled motion so i moved my handback towards him and he dragged himself forward using only his head and rested his head on my hand if i took my hand away he would start shaking again he sadly died around an hour later, Upon further examination thoughin the back of his throat was a growth around the size of a childs fist which explains his reluctance to eat he also had a freakishly large tooth on the left hand side of his mouth around three + times the size of any other tooth in his mouth. I t is just a shame he couldn't be seen by the vet sooner although i seriously doubt anything could have been done
