Now I really Need Help

OK i just learned today(after i bought the male and female geckos that are 4-5 and 5-6 inches long0 that i cant keep them together. I have a cage that they are both in and they arent fighting but someone still said i cannot keep them together. I dont have the money for a cage. Someone told me to use a tuppleware dish for the tank and put aheater under it use the top of a peanut butter thing for a water bowl and make a hidebox out of a butter container. If this will work how big does it nee dto be?

I would split it half lengthwise with some electrical eggcrate until you can afford another setup.

10 gal aquariums are only 10 bucks, that shouldn't be too hard to scrape up. You obviously had enough cash to get them, and have enough to continue to buy food for them.

you can pick up a human heating pad in walmart for $20 CDN and that is one the measures 11" x 15" which is to big for a 10 gallon, so it would be even cheaper, so heating isn't that expensive, probably $10-$15, same as the tank, and they cost next to nothing to run

Exactly. You could even buy a human heat pad and return it w/in a week, just using it to tie you over while you wait for some heat tape to arrive. A 1' strip of 3" should be good for a 10gal and would cost under $5 before shipping. Once wired up you could return the heat pad, Walmart takes back anything.

In all reality you could get a setup for less than $20 easily. A rubbermaid would work fine and only cost $3. A foot of heat tape and a cheap extension cord only $10 (we'll include shipping), and hides are free (cardboard box). This comes to a grand total of $13 which is a high guess, and you could add a buck or two for food or water dishes etc...

Doesn't seem like a great big deal if the geckos aren't fighting. Just keep an eye on them and get yourself to Wal-mart. Buy the human heat pad (near the pharmacy). Cheapest one is around $9.00. Next, go to the aquarium dept and get a 10 gallon... here they are $8.88. Get them separated soon, though because you don't want premature breeding to take place, which is far riskier for your female than male. Good luck, and enjoy your geckos! I, myself, just introduced a new female to my other females this last week (after she was properly quarnetined and ok'd by the vet)/ They get along wonderfully, but I still don't allow them to be together while I'm not around. After a period of time, when I'm confident that they will be fine alone I will let the 'new girl' named "Boo" to move in permenantly! Keep us posted!

for those of us without a scale, what is considered "premature"?

geckos under 1 - 1.5years shouldn't be breed. those are premature at my oppinion

snake: 10 gallons is small, kinda bare minimum for one gecko.
get another one or a rubbermaid, they are about 10$ for 1.5 feet by 2-3 feet long.
just make a separation with something and hot glue it.
it should cost you about 15$ canadian. than take the heatpad,
place it under the separation, so you heat both side.
should be okay. just look at the temperature.
you should also have a reostat hooked on the heatpad
