Mine always seem to be on the 4 week schedule, while the others are every 2 or 3 weeks.

Your patties sound like my blizzards. The only bliz eggs I've got this year are from the lonely het female. The bliz girls just drop their eggs anywhere. I watched one of them walk around a bit 'wobbly'... and saw her drop an egg on her way to the food bowl. The second egg showed up a few minutes later, in the calcium dish. Not one of them has yet laid an egg in the laying box, never mind actually digging a hole and covering it.

You mean Terri, my avatar leo? She's an opera singer at heart. Just touch the side of her mouth and she opens wide, and says 'aaaaahhhhhh'. Would make any doctor happy, and she keeps it up long enough to do a tonsilectomy.

All six of my patternless albino eggs were either laid in the water or on the paper towels..... I have 4 nest boxes set up in her cage..... Go figure...... All the eggs laid so far are doing well and are all alive...... As long as they are not left for too long in water or out of the nest box, the eggs should be fine...... Put them in the incubator no matter what because you never know..... And my pa female lays ever 2 weeks and she is on time....... Sometimes the first clutch of the season takes a bit of time, but after that they should be on time......
