View Full Version : potential problems
i have had this leo for 5 months now and i think she was approx 2-3 months old when i got her. if you look in the pictures especially the second one, you can see around her mouth that it is wet or shiny. What would this be caused by besides water, it seems her mouth is always wet to a certain degree, should i be worried at all? This has been like this for some while. She is eating fine and doing everything else fine. Never had a problem with any of the sheds or anything like that. Anyone have any suggestions or is it nothing to worry about.
Thanks in advance.
Nick

yepp i too see that in my geckos..just normal dont worry...if its actually wet to the touch then i dont know about that but if you are just seeing a glare its nothing.
She looks like a very healthy little girl! LOL I just call it gecko makeup. They always look like they are wearing eye shadow and lip gloss :p
mine always look like that too.! nice leo by the way:)
Have you ever actually felt your leo's lips? They look fine to me!
That's funny I always used to tell my husband that it looked like they had lipgloss on!
never actually felt them, will never be able to, s/he is a pain and love to squirm and jump out of your hands. any good ideas to holding him down so i can check it out?
looks fine, If you watch them they lick their lips constantly, Like a sence of smell(I think) at least mine does all the time.
Very nice girl!!
mine does lick his lips all the time so i thought that's what it might be but just thought i would double check, never hurts to ask ... thanks for the comment
