Hey every one. Taday i went to the bech, and found some really weird looking teeth with one other bone pice. On the ends they look to be curved in/out. Here is their pic. Any one have any idea from what animal they came??

they really don't look like canine teeth to me!

it's not canine teeth, all of them are little triangles, canine teeth look completely different. They could be cat teeth from the shape of it. Do a google on animal teeth.

I don't see any molars there (unless they fell off), so it would rule out dogs, cats, and a lot of other animals. The teeth are sharp like predators, sharp to bite chunk out of a body. Without molars, it would have to be some animal that swallows chunks, doesn't chew and grind it up much.
What's that narrow it down to?

I would probably be able to tell you what it came from if I had more accurate shots from different angles and counts on the incisors/molars/canines, but all I know is that those teeth came from a carniverous animal. They strangely remind me of a larger than average red fox but as I said I would need more information to go upon.

The weirdest thing about them is that the front 4 teeth are a bet bend on the end.

Looks like salmon to me too. See how the end curves down. They get that when they hit there old ugly stage.

Come over to BC around the end of summer! They are everywhere!!! It's really quite gross actually! Especially when you are fishing and a big dead salmon corpse comes floating by... *shutter*

"Rotting corpses everywhere" is this another advantage of living in B.C. over Alberta? LOL Mark

Kool thanks guys!

This skull i found in Ocanagan, by the lake. I think its Beaver, but it could be water rat or something (the white on the skull is some paint that got on it while we were painting the room). If interested here are some pics...

they are MALE chinook jaw bones. they die every year after spawning. and scale zoo if you want some go to sault ste. marie ont. 9my home town) in oct. or nov. of each year you can pick them up by the garbage bag full in 10 minutes. It makes for quite the smell when you have 20,000 dead fish.
