Introducing my pet pigeon: Gizmo

I have a pet pigeon named Gizmo, he hangs out with me every evening when he comes to visit and keep me company. I even bought a spatula to use as a pooper scooper and gave him bread but he doesn't seem to eat it. He likes to spend his time under my balcony's roof in the corner, staring at my balcony door for hours like he's mesmerized by it. He used to have a friend named Wicket but Wicket doesn't hang out with me anymore. Perhaps they got in an argument.

Does anyone else have a wild pet who visits them? As soon as I get my hands on a digital camera I'll take a pic of Gizmo and post it here.

when we were at south padre island texas this winter, a pelican used to come up to our hotel room which was next to a harbour and wait for us to catch bait fish and feed it to him :)
he was named "Charlie" :D
