anyone had to gave that to their leo for them to lay?
I got a female with 3-4 eggs and wont lay them
it's been 1-2 month since she is big
she eats very well so I'm woundering if I wait or have her
injected oxytoxin..

just my opinion, but just let her go at her own pace, she will lay when ready. There is no need to panic.

and i am no gecko expert, but i though leos only layed 2 eggs at a time???

oh, and the hormone is called oxytocin!

good luck with her

If she has 3-4 eggs in her i'd go see the vet cause thats not normal...

Leo's usually lay only one or 2 at a time, anymore then that is a cause for a trip to the vet.

Why all the worry about 4 eggs???? It is not common by any means but does happen..... Happend to me back when I first started breeding leos...... Females can hold on to eggs for a while..... My female that just laid held on to it for about 8 weeks....... Oxytocin does not always work and it is unclear what the side affects could be...... I would not play around like that just yet....... I am with Matt on this one......

Gregg M: You had one gecko who laid 4 eggs and it took 2 month?
because mine eats (I had one pinky left and it took half a second
and it was gone lol) so she still eats well. she has what a belly!
it's bigger than a Cadbury egg! (around 1.5 inch diameter)
so it seem a bit difficult for her to move a lot. she usaly hang on the heat floor.
I guess I could wait, I just don't want her to have impaction problem and which it could cause her death.
I do want to breed her (she is with a Red Stripe) and would give
nice baby but I wouldn't risk her life for that

Definently not uncommon for them to carry more than 2 eggs in them, if she's eating and otherwise alert and healthy, don't worry. Let her do her own thing.

yeah she seams to pass them easily, she is with her male
they both get along verrrrrry much so I never bothered removing
him.
I'll wait, she still eat like a pig so I guess she is happy
