Hi,
I am new to lizards so I hope my question isn't toooo basic...
I saw a fattail gecko at the petstore last night and his tail wasn't fat at all. In fact it looked more like a baloon that has lost all of its air. I questioned the guy about it (because I was thinking it was malnourished) and he said "maybe he lost the tail and it's growing back". Also, he was moving more slowly than I would expect. What do you think? Could the guy have been right?
