For about a week or two my male was kind of following my female around in the cage. I went away for a few days and when i got back they were both in the same hide together. They are NEVER in the same hide together. It's been atleast 6 months since i had seen them do that last. Any chance they got a little frisky when the parents went away for the weekend? Both Leo's are not quite a year. Is this too young? I tried feeling for eggs, but didn't really know what i was doing. I didn't find anything. How long would it take for me to feel eggs? How long after mating would she lay her eggs? Thanks

I wouldn't breed a female under 1 yrs old, they aren't fully developed
I wait at least 1.5 yrs
they could only be friend to each other
did you saw the male bitting the female?

I haven't seen any biting, but she has been eating more calcium lately. Is that a sign of anything? Perhaps she needs the extra calcium for egg? LOL, perhaps its all just wishfull thinking.

ive found you dont necearily have to wait a year and a half i have found no problems breeding them at 10 months to a year old they have all reached full size and i have never had one get egg bonud or produce bad eggs.(im not disagreeing with you icefire this is just my own opinion) sometimes ive noticed signs of males wanting to breed with the female is the will be rubbing on the ground and they will drag there tail acroos evreything
