Here is a pic of 4 fangs next to a US quarter which is the same size as a Canadian quarter........ The ones left to right are from 5 foot plus adults and the ones top and bottom are from 2foot juvs..... Enjoy the pic....

Ofcorse Matt..... LOL...... I find them every now and then while cleaning out the cages....... I have about 14 of them now....... I would have more if I dug through their poop......LOL

Just curious, based on size of snake are those fangs comparable to nasicornis?

Wow man! You hot keepers always have the sweetest pics to share and i thank you cause they're always educational.

Now this one i learned to never mess with a Gabby unless I want a massive freakin fang in me hahaha that would hurt so bad!

I would have to say the bitis that comes close would be a puff adder then a rhino next........ Nasicornis has big fangs but a gaboon of equal size would have larger fangs, but then again there are no 5 and a half foot rhinos to compair......LOL..... Thanks for the good words BurmGuy87........

Well Erin,
There is one way to avoid being tagged by one of those....... Dont ever keep one in the house with you.......LOL....... That is why us hot keeper have as many tools as we do........ It reduces the chance of us being tagged....... And I hope I never have the misfortune of being tagged by one also...... :)

Yes Brian we have seen your pictures but in all honesty standing between Chuck and Barry is not fair to anyone. And Gregg we have tools because um err we like shiney things lol.. I have a pic of my Rhino's fang and cant get it uploaded for some damn blasted reason. It is about the 3/4 the size of the 5 foot gabby so still not something i want stuck in me.

wow those are huge, gaboons are one of my favorite venomous snakes, although i dont keep any and probably never will =\ but if i did! i'd get a gabby
