If I bred a albino (female) with a 100% het blizz (male) what are the chances of a blazing blizzard comming out?? I'm thinking slim to none. If I the same male breeding with a blizz female how likely are blizz babies??

i'm not too sure what blizz is, but in terms of genetics, if it's a recessive gene, cross breeding a heterozygous with and albino is going to give you the possibilites of either gene trait (as albinism is recessive) is 0. a blizz female with a het male if a very large population was bred would yield 75% het, 25% blizz.

but of course, this is only if the most simple genetics apply.

Blizz is a blizzard lack they're white. That kinda helped thanks.

You have a zero chance of blazing blizards from this clutch or ant clutch from this pair.........

I kinda thought so. I never bred them, I don't actually have a female albino. I was just curious. How are blazings created anyway?? And no I'm not trying to breed for that. I don't have the time for a project like that. I'm just wondering that's all.

If I understand it correctly a Blazing Blizzard is a leo that is both Tremper Albino and Blizzard at the same time. So to produce such an animal both parents would have to be Het for both Albino and Blizzard. Or Homozygous for one trait and het for the other. Even if both parents are Double Het only a very small percentage of their offspring will be Blazing Blizzard.... I'd have to do the punett square to figure out the exact percentages... but it's not high. Less than 10% I think.

Anyone know if you can get Blazings with either Bell or LV Albinos?

A blazing Blizzard is a leopard gecko that is all white with red eyes.

A blazing blizzard is an 'albino blizzard', which is supposed to be pure white (no grey/purplish colour) with red eyes. I've never seen one in real life so I can't vouch for that, but the pictures of hatchlings have been pretty close. There are a few Tremper/blizzard cross BBs but not many, maybe around a dozen or so. A lot of people are trying to produce them, so there might be more but we just haven't heard of them yet.

If you want to know what you'll get by crossing different colours/morphs, check out Leopard Gecko Genetics morph calculator (http://www.geckogenetics.com/)

if i did it rightit says that there ould be albino blizzards(does this mean balzing?) if you bred a blizzard het for albino with a gecko that is the same albino but het for blizzard. is this right or did i do it wrong. Also if i bred two blazings and bred them together would they make blazing babies? thanks

Blazing blizzards refer specifically to Tremper albinoXblizzard as I understand it.
Your first combo there should give you:
25% normal het blazing blizzard
25% albino het blizzard
25% blizzard het albino
25% blazing blizzard

Two blazing blizzards SHOULD produce 100% blazing blizzards.

Now, I personally am confused by all of this, too. What do you call a blizzard Las Vegas albino? Has anyone created a blizzard Bell albino?
I initially thought that a blizzard was created by crossing an amel with an anery...was I wrong? The leo genetics program seems to be treating blizzard exclusively as a single recessive trait (leuc).

what if you were to breed a blazing blizzard with another het for blizzard?

I don't see that. What makes you think it's treating blizzard as a trait of patternless? Maybe I just need another coffee to clear my brain this morning? :)

As for what to call a blazing blizzard from LV or Bell lines? I think you could still call them blazing blizzards. The name was coined for the albino/blizzard cross, and it just happened that the first ones were made using Trempers.
