I'm just finishin my JCP cage and I'm wondering about air circulation.

I use to keep them in vertical 25 gallons with screen top and front, but humidity is too hard to keep in such enclosure.

I just built a double cage with front sliding door.

The only air circulation at the moment is the separation beetween the two sliding glass doors... Is it enough ?

The snakes aren't in yet I'm waiting to ear your comments before finishing it off.

Should I make openings ? If do... on the side, on top or both ?

Thanks.

I keep a small number of snakes including a pair of IJCPs. I have two vents on each side of the cage. I have found humidity is still retained and ventilation seems fine too.

Here is the last cage that was built for me by a very skilled and reputable cage builder. You can see the vents well.

Hope this helps :)
