hi, there are a few leos priced right at my local pet store and I want a female, they're probably about 2.5" (not including tail)
can they be sexed the same as adults?

No, Babies are harder to sex then adults. Because males do not develop thier bulges until they are older.
they can be temp incubated but thats not 100% positive

If you know what you are looking for leos can be easily sexed before they hit 20 grams.....

ive had my leo for about six months (i got it when it was about a week old, maybe less .. ive got the hookup on babies lol), and im still not exactly positive that its a boy. so its nameless for now until i can find out.. just call him/her leo.

when i was breeding leo's, i was always able to sex them by 2 or 3 months of age. i don't know how old these leo's are you're talking about. most leo's in pet stores turn out to be female, though. not all, but most.

i dont know how to sex youngings, but the one i got at a petstore is male so that shows not all are female.

But like most said, the smaller they are, the harder it will be to sex them.......
