My sister's albino leo seems to be acting oddly lately and we think she is living with a male. She is getting a bit large around the belly but i didn't see any eggs when i looked. And today she was in the humid hide and just kinda sitting there not moving not blinking or anything... and my sister says she was rubbing up against the stuff in the cage a lot too.

So if you could just give me a few things to look for that may help figure out if she is gravid or not would be great.

Thanks!

When my gecko first had eggs, I couldn't see them. She ended up laying three!

Your sister should but a lay box in there for her......... You dont want her to hold her eggs too long.......... She wont lay unless she finds a proper spot........ Or she could end up laing in the water dish....... Both cases are not good....... Tell your sister good luck and congratulations if the gecko is gravid........ :)

what would be good for a laying box? Is a tupperwear container with some moist bed-a-beast ok?

Absolutely. Just make sure it is private and moist. Try discourage the male from barging in, too. Good luck!:D

Also put a moist layer of paper towel in the bottom of the tupperwear before you put the bed a beast in........ If a leo lays an egg at the bottom on the plastic, the egg can stick to the plastic.......
