awww. is her name tia?? thats my ball pythons name, well thats her nickname, her full name is TeAmo, which mean i love you in spanish!! Just wonderin!!! LOL!! BYE BYE!! she is a real doll!! ( I mean your snake)

Tia is simply short for Tiamat... named after a Sumerian Goddess who personified the sea...

Her tail was pretty striking I thought as well... Chris had some with striped tails as well on the table - but I just fell in love with her... personality d'jour.

lol, most of my snakes have serpent deity names though many are what would be considered 2nd tier lol, many cultures represented and a naming process I'll continue lol

I named my corn Chicomé, for Chicomecoatl, who was, supposedly, the Aztec Goddess of corn and fertility, and the named roughly translated means "seven serpent"...and I had an aztec corn snake, so I thought it fit nicely.

We've done much of the same thing here as well... ours are all named after Sumerian Deities. Lilith was the ironic one... 'first snake'. LOL
