This is a surprise!

I came home yesterday and went to the terrarium to peek in the "hospital" I made for my snake and guess what? I saw him shedding! This was a surprise for me so I just waited until he was done. I also found feces that were kind of yellowish in colour. Is this blood?

Was the stuff dried and hard? if it was it was probably dried urates.

Lucky you! I have yet to catch any of mine in the act of shedding. The closest I came was when I looked at my ghost corn half an hour after last checking on him and he had shed during that time :(

It was probably runny at first because it soiled the paper towel... I hope I have nothing to worry about.

no, most of the time urates come with liquid as well as kind of "stone" like thing that can range from white to yellowis. Blood is blood, it's red.
