All were found literally less than 150 yds. apart. Shows the variety even in a small area. No wonder we all like 'em. There's a look for everyone!
I would imagine that any "morphs" derived from breeding these to any known ones to come out looking a bit different (from each other) too. Wouldn't you?

The diversity even in normals is quite stunning, isn't it? Those ones that you posted are particularly beautiful. That first one looks like it would make for some NICE anerys if that pattern was inherited.... they'd be VERY black.

Great looking corns - are they all still in the wild or were you tempted to borrow one for a season - love the wide black bands on that first guy.

While I love Edmonton winters - there are times I envy those of you who live where you can find these guys in the wild!

Mary, the 3rd one (the one with the most black around the saddles) looked to be female and possibly gravid already. If so I'll know soon. We will see what happens. Babies, if produced from her, will be set back in the area.
