humid hide idea

anybody ever try putting those plastic grates(the kind that are in stockwells incubator) on the bottom of a rubbermaid then filling the base with water up to almost the top of the grate. would this work?

i geuss, i just use wet towels, and put them in the hides

Hmm do you mean having the water at the bottom, covered by a grate, and then having substrate on top of that? I'm confused:confused:

actually i was thinking to put water in the bottom then just use the grate as a substrate. or mayber put paper towell over it.

Ok, I see. Well, leos do like to "bury" themselves a bit in the humid hide, so I personally would stick to damp sphagnum moss. Paper towel might be ok though.
