Does anyone use an UTH for their leopard gecko's?

If so, what type of cage tdo you have?

I ask because I would like to use an UTH for my gex, but their home is made of 1/2" plywood, so I'm not sure how/where to put UTH.

Thanks

UTH's are perfectly okay for leos. That's all I use for my ground dwelling geckos including leos and AFTs.

Check the pictures in my album showing how I use UTHs in melamine cages, (http://www.ssnakess.com/photopost/showgallery.php?cat=3115&ppuser=321) which would be about the same as plywood.

Put a heat resistant tile on the bottem of the cage, put the UTH on it and then put some tile or glass with the edges filed down on top of the UTH. That's how I have mine. I also had mine hooked up to a dimmer so I could tell if it was too hot of not if so I could just turn it down but as it turns out it works nicly.
