How can I tell what a juvi BRB is going to grow up to look like? I've heard that BRB colour isn't really dictated by the parent's colour, so how do you guys predict what they will look like when they grow up? Thanks

Its a bit of a crap shoot, but simply pick one with good contrast and the brightest orange in the crescents... Brazilians usually get brighter, but they don't usually get darker, so pic the brightest most contrasting baby if you have a choice.. I usually found almost all the litter looked the same

Thanks Roy,
Are we talking the crescents on the side of the snake, or the circles on the back? Reason I ask is sometimes I see ones with yellow crescents on the side, but it seems to be pretty variable (some having no contrast at all). Are the yellow ones "the best"?

One more thing I look for is a clean background. Many BRB's will have dark black inside the rings that go down their back. Sometimes it looks like smudges and others have very distinct dots. These spots are easily seen on neonates also. This female has a nice clean backround...
