Hi,
I've had this high yellow leopard gecko for 2 years, from almost a hatchling. It has been doing great for the past 2 years up until a couple months ago. I used to have it housed with another female, and it stayed with her for about a year, and they were all the same size. Then a couple months ago I noticed the other female being agressive towards the high yellow. Even though I separated them, (they were still in the same tank, just with a thin box dividing them) the high yellow would continually dig under the substrate and go back with the other femle even though they were fighting. So about after a couple weeks I took the divider out, and they seemed to get along, but it happenned again, so I separated them, and put one in a ten gallon. Now the high yellow has been in the 10 gallon for about a month. Everything is okay, temps, water dish, paper towel substrate, and a hide. She used to be housed on calci sand with the other female, but was taken off it. For the couple days I had her in the 10 gallon, she ate a bit, a silkworm, some crickets, and some mealworms, but not many. (She seems to be very lazy when eating, like I'd have to hand feed her or put it in front of her, this has been occuring for a long time.) Every time I come by she tries continually to climb up the glass, and when I see her like that I take her out, and she calms right back down. She hasn't been eating from my hand and doesn't seem interested in food. So she hasn't eaten for about 3 weeks to a month, and I was wondering a few things.
Could she be missing the female? (a possibility?)
Is the tank to small?
Does she have parasites?
Or is she fasting?
(I do have pics if anyone wants to see)
