does that mean they have mites? Someone on another forum said this and I was wondering if this is true. I know if my Ball Python soaks alot this is possibly the case, but since KSBs don't have large water dishes to soak in I'm wondering if this is a correct indicator?

That's absolutely silly. Sand boas do not spend 100% of their time submersed in their substrate. I have 4, and every single one of them spends a great deal of time above ground. None of them have mites.

Thanks - I was trying to make sense of what the person said. I know if my BP is soaking due to mites he's trying to get them off, etc. Didn't really see how a KSB lying on top of the sand would remedy that any.
