Everyone's Favourite morph? Non-favourite

I'm sure this has been done before, but frankly I don't care, I'm sick and miserable, so you must all suffer with me! :p

So, my favourite morph are the blizzards. The totally white pinkish ones. I think they're the best. However, in the opinion of some, notably my Uncle Roy think white snakes look sick. I'm not sure what it is about white snakes, might be the purity of the white, or just the fact that white is such an usual colour in animals b/c most of the time, it spells death (excluding arctic species).

Next to the blizzards are the striped snakes. I think the anery/ghost stripes are top picks, but the hypo/normal ones are STUNNING.

My least favourite are amels, and this includes amels of some of the other "base morphs", butters (caramel base) for instance do nothing for me, whilist the ambers are super cool!

Someone asked me why I didn't like amel corns, and I think it is b/c of the pink parts being next to the bright white parts makes me feel like the snake is ill. I feel much the same about pastel/super pastel ball pythons. Albino california kingsnakes are ok, but the other kings just look sick. I feel that way about albino tri-colours too. The pink with the red just looks wrong to my eyes.

I'm sure many people feel that way about other morphs/snakes. My opinion in no way should detract from anyone else's appreciation for this or that snake. I'm just blathering and interested in others likes and dislikes. Gives insight into each other. Anyhow, I hope no one thinks this is an attack on what they like best.

When it comes to corns Snow corns are my total favorite. I love the way they are ultra variable. But for a second fav corn I'd have to say normals. I love the natural look of them.

Kings, I REALLY dislike albino kings. I have had a few chances to buy some nices ones but they just don't look nice to me. But on the other hand normal California Kingsnakes are my favorite snake OF ALL TIME! I absolutly LOVE normal cal kings especially desert phase/ 50 50's. The stark black and white is just amazing.

Favorite - WOW, that's a hard one. I have several faves. Lavenders would probably be #1 if I had to pick, but the #2 spot would be a dead tie with Ghost, Pewter, Blizzard, Amber and Anery A.

My least favorite, I'm in total agreement with Katt - I don't like Amels. Amel stripes are ok though. But the white saddle outlines on the orange.... gah. Very unappealing.

My favorite corns are creamsicles - regular pattern, striped or motley - but they have to be the orange ones - love orange (and it is even better in milksnakes!)

Snow stripes that have pink stripes (champagne corn) and ghost vanishing stripes are close seconds.

My least favorite is likely normal, but I am not fond of the anerys or lavenders either, unless in striped morph. Opals can be pretty nice though.

darn..this is going to be hard..
For sure are the red or orange candy canes
then the lavenders, bloodreds (any phase), then the patterns (striped and motleys) come very close

Ones that I don't like....
none...I like all of them...lol...as long as they are corn snakes they're mine! all mine!!! muhahahahha

what I would really want to add to my collection:
1) piebald/calico
2) paradox

how could you not like the amels...the candy canes are amels...and I love them to death~

As I've mentioned before, my #1 fav corn type HAS to be the normals (Okeetees included). Then followed by the Miami's (normals also) and their derivatives (Crimson, Candycane, milksnake phase etc).

My favorites are the stripes... I LOVE striped amels (just got one, hehe) and stripes in general are gorgeous. I also love the anery hurricanes, that'll be my next corn!

Least favorite would have to be pewter

Katt, I think I remember you saying that your "favorite" snake would be the one you're holding at the time! As for corns, I've said before I'm not sure there's much that needs "improving" on any of the normally occurring phases. To me, my ghosts or even ghost striped corns are not "corns"-- just different snakes. I love 'em all, but Mother Nature did well enough for me. That said, here's my favorite Miami.

Yes, that's true, my favourite snake is the one in my hand, but doesn't mean I can't have favourite morphs!

Anyhow, you shoulda seen Vanan grin when he saw the pic of the momma of his miami corn. Vanan's been amassing miami's up here. Better watch out!

I should have mentioned normals, but they don't really need to be mentioned. The colours that come out of normal corns is just incredible. If I had the space, I would keep a ton of normals, especially those realy dark red individuals.

I like all of em really.

I'm going to have to say Amelanistic Motley would be my favourite, followed by a really bright Okeetee. However, I don't really care for the amels that have a lot of white, I like the bright reds and oranges (probably why Candy Cane's are one of my least favourites).
I don't much care for any of the earthier-toned morphs such as anerys, ghosts, butters, etc... I have enough boids to fill those shoes at home :) The whole reason I even have any colubrids is for the intense, bright colouration :sun:

This year I'll be produding Aneries het for snow and Ghost. For the second clutch I'll be pairing my female anery who's het for hypo with a buddies Hypo Motley. In that clucth I'll get ghost and normals (I think) all who will be het for motley.
Finnally I'll be pairing my Snow who's het for hypo with an amel who's het for snow (I hope) so I should get amels, snows.

So then Alex, is that your snake? The ghost/ hypo/bloodred one? I had a similar hatch from a hypo, but not sure what bred with her. hmmmm. If that blood red area turns deep patternless blood red, then that'll be a striking animal with the ghost areas on him.

I bet that ghost/normal corn, is a chimera. The fusion of two embryo's into one. That would explain the two phases occuring in "one" animal.

i dont really dislike any colour really.....
but i love it when snows have pink/yellow or green parts to them
