The point of all these posts is to illustrate that NOT all animals/breeding season/situations/pairings/days are the same. Keen observation and a willingness to just watch and learn from the animals (not other people) are required to figure out what's best for your animals. Its the whole FUN of keeping the damn things!! I could watch them for hours if the world would just stop passing me by whenever I try to!! LOL!!
I am also in NO way saying that Carpets are hard to breed. I would say that they are the easiest group after Antaresia. Its too bad they never caught on like Ball Pythons. Not enough $$ involved, I guess.
Pair #5 for 2003: (male is just entering a shed cycle - last night - but was still cruising majorly. So I plunked him in and he went straight for her!).
