yes, I feed my leos roaches
Yeah they should eat them as long as they are not too big.

Just make sure they are size appropriate and it's also much easier to give them newly molted ones

Are these the same species of roaches that infest restaurants, houses, etc? If so, don't you run the risk of causing an infestation in your own home if there was ever an accident and they got out?
Just curious because I hate crickets, but if these roaches aren't the gross kind I might look into switching.

I use discoids, Our bearded dragons love them. But the buggers move quite fast so they tend to hide in the enclosure a lot and come out to eat the veggies we give the beardies.
But the discoids take a long time to breed. I have had them for well over a year and still no babies as of yet, got some eggs but their cycle is very long.
I did find a trick, use nutri-blocks (the king you give rodents). Our discoids wouln't grow and since we gave them that, it's litterally steroids for them, they grew like weeds.
Also, discoids can't climb glass and don't hiss compared to hissers.

I would share the same concern. If roaches ever escaped they would be really hard to get rid of in your house. Better to stick to crickets that die off soon after escaping.
