I recently acquired a "sunkissed" corn at our annual auction. This is a cultivar that is originally from a sunglow corn X creamsicle corn, right? Does anyone here have one? Any pics? :Markhttp://www.ssnakess.com/photopost/data/500/151sunkissedmale2.JPG

Here he is now after a shed. Not much different than my sunglow, but I may keep him.

Mark is it a sunkissed okeetee?
Cause if it is, than Kathy Love has been producing these for a long time already. They are pure corn snakes with different hypo gene in it.

I don't know if the 'sunkissed' corn is the same as the sunkissed okeetee, but if it is. It's a pure corn...
post some pics and we shoudl find out~

Simon, I'm pretty sure it is from Rich Z. A friend, Mike of Mike's Motleys says they are creamsicle X sunglow (no white) corn. I haven't heard back from Rich yet, I assume he's busy. Thanks and I'll post pics when he sheds.

If it is from Rich then I am even more certain that it's not a hybrid.
Rich is really aginst breeding hybrids and he doesn't keep any of those at all
So if it really is from Rich then it's a pure sunkissed okeetee originally from Kathy Love's stock.

I've heard of these "sunkissed" corns. They're crosses. There was some sort of stir about them, on the OTHER site.

I'm now thinking of breeding him to a creamsicle female anyway. That should give me some nice babies if he is indeed a cross.

so would an oketee and reverse oketee be a pure corn??

Well, yes given Okeetee is really just a normal corn and reverse Okeetee is just an amel. As long as there's no other crosses in there like emoryi (creamsicle), then it's a corn.
