Noooo cant be!!! look in my gallery alot better pic in there. (but u never know i got it from a breeder that had a tank in a pet store :S (i know i know pet store animals are evil!!) but ya you think its an albino?
well it cant be a striped. cause stripes are vertical on the body. what you have there is "banded" where the stripes go around the body.
what color are they eyes?

that is definately an albino no doubt about it
well actually i took a look in your gallery.. it looks like its bout to shed but u can see black pigment. and pet stores wouldnt make the mistake of labeling it normal cause its bout a 20$ difference in pricing
I am 100% sure that is a dark tremper albino. I'd bet the farm on it if I had one.
And Neo, pet stores WILL make the mistake. Myself and some friends have gotten some nice animals very cheaply because of pet stores screwing that up, actually.
In fact, this very gecko was sold to me as a normal one by a pet store who not only mislabled it, but swore up and down it wasn't albino! My friend worked at the store, and the reptile buyer (shudder at this!) told her baby leos are light when young, and get darker as they get older....
So my friend called me.
And I walked out with a cheap and absolutely gorgeous albino.

I'm a breeder Neo:D It's an albino. Pet stores do not know everything. Just because a guy comes to your door selling encyclopedias, it dosn't mean he can read. And an albino'e eyes can be anything from silver, to copper, to pink, to auburn to red.:D The albino gene is quite diversified. You got lucky there golfsk8er:D:D Good for you!
Julie
hm. well some albinos can have grey eyes too (tremper and rainwater.. i cant tell the difference between the 2) we just know that if yours is an albino its not a bell albino (they have red eyes).. and youkai.. i dunno whether to be angry at pet stores for that or glad on getting good deals :D great albino.. good quality especially from a pet store!
yeah i just figured since pet stores are focused on profit so much they might pay attention to a trait that will earn them couple hundred % profit.

Well not really grey, but silver:D I have also seen Bell's with copper and pink eyes too. It all depends what people want the public to see. That's the advantage of being a breeder. You can hold back anything you like so that your animals all live up to your set conditions and no one is the wiser. Sad, but true in many cases. Ah, but leos are cute no matter what!:D
It is most certainly safe to say you have a tremper albino there. :D

Sorry for being so finiky but ill post another picture in my gallery so if you could have a look maybe you might change yer mind?

Your gecko is, with absolute certainty, a dark tremper albino.
I think most of the people who have posted here have worked with them, and can assure you that that is an albino!

TREMPER ALBINO:D:D Go to his website and compare. www.leopardgecko.com Heck, go to any website and compare it. You caught a break and purchased an albino for the price of a normal phase. Congrats.
