Sup everyone, does this ever happend to you?

After I would put in Crickets into my Rose Hair T's tank, I would notice them point thier long tail like thing into the ground as if they were laying eggs.

And coupl days later, i would see baby Crickets everwhere.
What can you do to prevent this?
and I was thinking maybe cut off or pull off that long tail, what do you think?

Pls let me know if this has ever happend to you and what should I do. I don't really want these babies hopping around my house.

Thanks Paolo.

Simple, first, never leave un-eaten cricks in the terrarium... a hungry T will pounce on the prey right away, if it does not, great chances it wont three days later either...

If you want to leave them in for a while (which I do not recommend) just put only males, avoid the females and your problem will be solved...

switch to orange spotted roaches(dubia) for your feeders

Females have the "tail" you speak of (ovipositor).

female has 3 "tails" 2 short ones and 1 long one (the ovipositor) and males only have 2 short ones. Also females are bigger than males and males make the chirping noise.

Thanks,
