Hey im getting anoter snake this christmas and i want a jcp
how big do they get and how much would they weigh (in lbs)
also how much humidity. right now i have a brb so i know how to get high humidty do they need as much?

Carpets, in general, are amazing animals!

Jungles get about 4.5-7 feet on average. Weight I think is around 2-3 pounds for an adult female, don't quote me on the weight though.

Carpets in general need 60-70 humidity out of shed and 70-80 in shed, other people will tell you they need 70+ but it's really not true.

Adult females can get up to around 7-8 feet, with the occasional 9 footer. They also weigh much more than 2-3 lbs. I've got a 6-6.5 foot female at my house right now that weighs about 5-6 lbs. and they get much larger than that. In fact, I've heard of 10+ lb. specimens.

I keep my carpets at 40-50% humidity and have had no problems whatsoever. I just spray their cages every other day or so when they go into shed.

Yeah, it's pretty amazing considering how small they are at hatching.

Heck, I've got female Irian Jayas that are in the 1,800-2,000 gram range and I've seen some monster IJs that are in the 3,000-3,500 range. In fact, my 2.5 year old female is right around 1,750 grams.
