Yea, I'm done!!!! My boyfriend and myself have finally fixed up the cage as we wanted. It didn't take us as long as we thought it would either. The cage may look high maintence, but it won't be. Luckly for us our leos are pretty much "potty trained". Anyway, hope you enjoy the pic.

Just thought of something tho... with that much rock under them how do you heat the tank? Just using lights or do you use an UTH at all?
Very nice. I'd also like to to know how many gallons that tank is. And do you know about how big your leos are?
Wow thats a beautiful set up, but wont the geckos have a hard time getting the crix with all those rocks.

what if she only feeds diff types of worms guys :p There would be no crix to think about
Or put the crix inside a glass loaf pan so the geckos can get in but the crickets can't get out?

Thanks for all the kind words every one.
matt_winter and JeffT- When i feed crix. I tong feed them so there is no worry about crix. getting under the rock. Bartman i do feed mostly worms mealies, butters, and silks, sometimes wax worms but only as treats. Good suggestion on the glass pan eyespy i may have to try that out.
The tank i'm using is a 75 gallon tank and it houses 5 females. The hardest part of the whole cage was going through the smaller rocks and cleaning them and picking out the rocks that they could possibly swallow. Cleaning everything took around 4 hours and the setup only took about 30-60 min... The things i do for my sweet sweet girls. LOL
I also set up my males 20 gal. cage it looks better IRL though. There are actually 3 hides you just can't really tell. Here's a link to his picture.

Slannesh- They have 2 heat lamps on them and with the rocks in there i don't see a need for uth (plus i don't think it would work as well) The rocks soak in the heat from the lamps then all the leos have to do is come out and bask out on the rocks. Also all the leos in that tank are over 60 grams there actually between 60 -75 gramsbetween 5 of them and my male is 77 or 78 grams don't remember i would have to through him on the digital scale to find out.
sketchy4- I love that tree and so do 2 of my females. I did have a tree trunk and base looking thing and it dripped water from a stem that hung out at the top. but my boyfriend broke that yesterday when breaking the rocks into smaller chunks along with breaking a few other things that we would normally put into the cage. He broke (accidentally) close to$70.00 worth of reptile housing. But it's ok cause we still managed to pull it through without having to go buy all that stuff again.
Thanks again everyone we put alot of effort into this cage and we're glad everyone enjoys it!!!!

What a great idea, it looks incredible!!! I have been downsizing my collection a bit and a setup like that would be great for keeping all of my Leos in a great display cage.

Awesome setup! I am just curious do you have the rock slabs secured so they can't fall or do you have something under them where you have hides? also how much did it cost to do something like that in your 20 gal? I have a 30 that I might try that with. :)
I also have that tree and the only thing i don't like about it is that on the inside its not completely smooth and I'm afraid my leos might get stuckor something, however they don't seem to mind....

The rock slabs are very secure I’m not worried about them at all. Some of the slabs are homes also that just look like ledges that stick out. Gives it a more natural feel to it, and the leos seem to be loving it. I will try to break the price down as much as a can. The huge chunks of rocks, which we bought at a masonry were around 32 bucks (for both cages though) we broke them down into manageable chunks. then the bag of rocks cost 2-4 bucks. There’s also a little bit of bed a beast in there (for a humid hide) but I used it for both cages. Then he has one conventional hide (it cost 20.00) and a water dish 3-6 bucks depending on what kind you get or you could go with Tupperware which is even cheaper. I think that’s about it. Maybe if I added it all up for his cage with out the water dish and hide (that I already had) so for all the rocks, just for his cage would probably be around 15-20 if that.
Just make sure you clean all the rocks you get before putting them in the cage and take out any small ones that you think they would try to eat.
