Irian Jaya Female - better and better and...

I know you Canadians like your Irian Jayas, so I figured I'd post these. :D

This is the 2.5 year old female of mine that keeps getting lighter and lighter. Her male clutchmate is doing the same thing, but the color change is about 6 months behind hers, which I attribute to a six month fast last year.

Anyway, I am hoping to get a clutch from this girl and her clutchmate this year. Babies should be at least this good, if not better.

Thanks for the kind words. I'm not letting go of many babies, but I do know that I will be sending a pair to one breeder up there. Of course, it'll be a while before she produces any, but at least you know they'll be there.

Thanks. They were produced by a friend of mine, who sold the parents before he knew how their babies would turn out. Needless to say, he wishes he would've waited. :)
