mine wont hold still long enough for me to get a good pic which is too bad as they both have just shed:(. My male just runs from one hand to the other and would probably just as soon drop to the floor to make a quick getaway. The female likes to constrict my fingers and swings her head all around (shes still a little nerveous)

She is indeed! Some think she is crossed, and I suppose its possible, but she looks pretty IJ to me... she has that greenish tinge on her sides so characteristic of IJs :)

Don't listen to that stuff, Zoe. She is a very good looking, darker colored Irian Jaya. There are way too many people that try to label carpets, when they haven't been around enough of them to know one from the other anyway...usually, all they know is what they read in Pythons of the World. lol

I've got a ten year old imported Irian Jaya that has the same basic color as yours. She's not nearly as pretty as yours, but I know for a fact she's pure because she was imported in 95 as a WC juvie.
