do u need a day light with uv for leos
some UV rays help leos produce d3 which helps them process calcium. u dont really need it if u give them the proper powders i think since they're nocturnal but it'd be nice for them to be able to see day light
you think since they are nocturnal it would be nice for them to see daylight? uh ok, anyways what Neo said was right about some UV rays helping give D3, but since they are nocturnal and that means they come out at night , they wouldnt be getting UV and thats why we have D3 powders to dust their food.

You don't really need a uv bulb for leos since they are noctornal. On the other hand they should have a regular photoperiod. I have flouresent bulbs on all my leos cages that regulate night and day.
