very little is known about the rough scales python,as i believe there is only 4 specimens in captivity, but here is a small write up on the Mark O shea site as he helped in the capture of two of the four

Actually, a couple of years ago, there was a clutch that has hatched at a zoo in Australia. They hatched a pile of them.
Do a search on Google and you should find plenty of info.
